Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 20, 2026 · Last updated: August 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Base Origin LLC ("Base Origin," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile games, applications, and website (together, the "Services"). By using our Services, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We aim to collect as little personal information as possible. Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:

  • Information you provide. If you contact us through the in‑game support form or by email, we receive the contents of your message and, if you choose to give one, your reply email address. The in‑game form also attaches your device model, operating system version, game version, and a random support identifier (generated by the game, not derived from your device) so we can diagnose problems without a back‑and‑forth.
  • Game account and cloud save. When you first play, the game creates an account for you (anonymously — no name or email required) with a randomly assigned player ID, and stores your game progress in the cloud so it can be restored on a new device. If you later choose to connect an Apple or Google sign‑in, that link is associated with the same player ID.
  • Gameplay and diagnostic data. The game records in‑game events (such as battles started and won, currencies earned and spent, and progression milestones) and sends them to Unity Analytics so we can fix bugs, balance gameplay, and understand how the game is played. Crash and error reports (including device model, operating system version, and a technical stack trace) are sent to Unity Cloud Diagnostics so we can find and fix crashes. A copy of recent events is also kept locally on your device for troubleshooting. This data is tied to the random player ID described above, not to your name or email.
  • Purchase information. Our games offer in‑app purchases, including optional auto‑renewing subscriptions. Transactions are processed by Apple or Google — we never receive or store your payment card details. We receive confirmation of the purchase, a transaction identifier, and (for subscriptions) the entitlement status and expiry so we can deliver what you bought and restore it across your devices.
  • Advertising data. Our games show optional rewarded ads and occasional interstitial ads through Unity LevelPlay (ironSource) and its partner ad networks. To deliver and measure ads (and to limit how often you see the same one), these partners may process device information such as your device model, IP address, and — only where you have given the required permission — your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android). On iOS, the system App Tracking Transparency prompt controls this permission and you can decline it; ads still work without it, just less personalized.

2. How we use information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve our games and website;
  • To save and sync your game progress and deliver purchased content;
  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests;
  • To analyze usage so we can fix bugs, balance gameplay, and build better features;
  • To show and measure advertising, in accordance with your consent choices;
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues;
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your information based on: performance of a contract (to provide the game you requested), our legitimate interests (to improve and secure our Services), your consent (where required), and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time.

4. Third‑party services

We rely on trusted third parties to help run our Services. These providers process data under their own privacy policies and only as needed to perform their services. They are:

  • Unity Technologies (Unity Gaming Services): operates the anonymous game account (player ID), sign‑in linking, and cloud storage of your game save; Unity Analytics processes the gameplay events described in Section 1; Unity Cloud Diagnostics processes crash reports; Unity's in‑app purchasing service helps validate store transactions.
  • Unity LevelPlay (ironSource) and its partner ad networks: deliver and measure the in‑game advertising described in Section 1, under their own privacy policies and your consent choices.
  • Cloudflare: provides the secure relay infrastructure that delivers in‑game support messages to us.
  • Discord: support messages sent from the in‑game form (including the message text, any reply email you provide, and the device details described in Section 1) are delivered to our private support channel on Discord.
  • App stores & platforms: Apple App Store and Google Play, for distribution, purchases, and platform features.
The data practices of each game are also disclosed in that game's App Store and Google Play data‑safety/privacy labels. We keep those labels up to date as our tools change.

5. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only: with the service providers described above; with advertising partners as described in Section 1 (which may qualify as "sharing" for cross‑context behavioral advertising under some US state laws — you can opt out via the advertising controls in Section 7); with Apple and Google to process purchases and operate platform features; when required by law or to protect our legal rights; and in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), subject to this Policy.

6. Children's privacy

Our Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at contact@base-origin.com and we will delete it. Where our games are made available to younger audiences, we take steps to limit data collection and advertising in accordance with applicable law.

7. Your rights and choices

  • Account & data deletion. You can permanently delete your game account, cloud save, and progress at any time — either directly in the game (Settings → Account → "Delete account & data") or by request. See Account & Data Deletion for the exact steps.
  • Access, correction, deletion. Depending on your location (including under the EU/UK GDPR and the California CCPA/CPRA), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Advertising choices. On iOS, you control ad personalization through the App Tracking Transparency prompt and Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android, you can delete or reset your advertising ID in Settings → Privacy → Ads. Any real‑money purchase also removes interstitial ads in‑game for 30 days, and an active season pass removes them entirely.
  • California residents have the right to know, delete, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information; to opt out of ad‑related "sharing," use the advertising controls above.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@base-origin.com. We will respond as required by applicable law.

8. Data retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Aggregated or de‑identified data may be retained longer.

9. International data transfers

Base Origin is based in the United States, and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. These countries may have data protection laws different from those in your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
